"We had a fabulous stay here, the accommodation we booked with a lake view was slightly obstructed by some high trees and is 300m from the property but up a hill and further from the lake but apart from that the hotel is fabulous, the staff were very accomodating, the food and breakfast was outstanding and we had a fabulous time by the lake. Titisee and all the restaurants shops and attractions is just a short 15 minute walk away. "

"Working in Basel so booked into a superior room on 9th floor. Very spacious with a table of 4 chairs so easy to work and have dinner. Fan included so no air conditioning unit but comfortable. Nice large windows so lots of breeze. Shower is high pressure so amazing to use and overall very comfortable. Breakfast was continental and lots of options to choose from. Will defo book again! Uber is difficult to call BUT taxi is available on demand at reception."

"Do NOT plan to arrive on the weekend. There is no one on reception. I was thankful that someone arranged to be there when I arrived at 1:30pm to let me in. This person was very kind but left the premises after showing me my room. My room was large, very clean and bright. BUT there was no air conditioning or fan, no tea/ coffee making facilities no fridge. My room became a furnace as the afternoon progressed - I am Australian and used to heat but this was exceedingly uncomfortable. The walk to buy food was too far given that one is always tired on arrival and the area is not attractive. It cost me €50 for a taxi from Basel which shocked me given the short distance. I chose this hotel because I’m going on a Rhine trip and thought I could walk to the dock. I can’t and another taxi will cost €30. I wish I’d stayed in Basel. PS Don’t rely on TV for entertainment. Awful selection of programmes. "
